Welcome! I'm Jay, and I have been a professional photographer for over 15 years specializing in primarily weddings, boudoir, lifestyle, and automotive photography and videography. I have worked in the commercial field with several high profile brands, but have found my home as a freelance photographer.
My style is very fluid. Candidly-posed is how I like to direct my clients. I'm a natural light photographer by heart, but also have extensive knowledge in using off-camera flash and RGB lights! My signature look would likely gravitate more towards "filmic/cinematic", and I use those terms loosely.
A few things that I pride myself on are communication, respect, and privacy. I like to create a fun environment, address all clients' needs, and make sure they feel comfortable in front of the camera. If the client isn't comfortable, it ends up showing in the photos, so I do what I can to ensure that! On wedding days, I do everything I can to reduce stress levels that the couple may have, for boudoir shoots I instill confidence and a safe mindset for the model, and for those that never take photos I make sure to show them their progress by checking out the images on my camera and making modifications to anything they feel they need to adjust.
Being a photographer isn't just about taking photos and technical knowledge of settings, lighting, posing, directing, and editing. It's also about creating an experience.
I currently offer my services all throughout Southern California (Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire), but am more than happy to travel anywhere!
